Parking issues.

Upon showing up for the first day of classes, we all noticed how full the parking lots were at ICC. We all heard about the increase of enrollment for this year, but neglected to think that we would be directly affected by the full lots, and some of us had to park at East Campus. I personally feel this is ridicules. I understand the fact that people need their education as well, but ICC’s administration needs to realize how many people are being accepted to the college. For instance, I was late my first two days, as many other people were. Even after a week of waking up earlier to get to class takes its toll. I personally have had a lot of homework from my other four classes, and going to bed late, and getting up early, make the days go by very slow. I’m sure that everyone who is attending ICC this semester is exhausted. But if this semester is anything like past semesters, a lot of people will end up dropping classes, or, unfortunately, dropping out of school. I’m sure that it will be worse during the winter months. If the trend continues, people could find themselves walking long distances in the snow. It could also lead to us getting up even earlier just to get a closer parking spot, which would exhaust us more.
